We are building our new website and need samples of actor headshots to populate the homepage. So, this is a one-time offer for any young or established actor who needs a professional headshot. We plan to arrange a day when everyone can meet up at different times so we can do the headshots. We can use our 45 Beech St EC2Y 8AD studio, but we would prefer to come to your theatre or film set. Ideally, we would capture the headshot within an actor’s working environment, which will make them look more professional and credible. This would make things more comfortable for the actors as they would be in familiar surroundings rather than coming across London to our very corporate studio. If this is not possible then we can arrange to meet in London and have a cityscape background. This depends on the British weather, so not always the best option unless you get lucky. If you think you would be more comfortable at our studio, then we can get your headshots captured at Beech St, and we can always add a theatre or film set background in post-production. We plan to hire a theatre to capture backgrounds, so we have a selection we can add for future actor’s headshots.
When it comes to wardrobe we suggest you do not dress as a film or theatre character as this might get you typecast into the same role over and over again. If you are happy with that senario then please dress as a favourite character. If this is a concern then dress in everyday clothing and make sure the clothers are neutrel and do not overpower your features.
Even if you do not need a new actors headshot but please think of fellow actors who might need a new headshot and spread the word around at your next theatre performance or when you are next on the film or TV set or workshop.
